40 Years of Holding Power Accountable

Please join us on October 6 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC at Common Cause's 40th anniversary gala! Cocktails will begin at 6pm and the gala dinner will start at 7pm.

Actor Sam Waterston (best known for his long-running portrayal of prosecutor Jack McCoy on Law and Order), will receive the John Gardner Lifetime Achievement Award for his commitment to the public interest and advocacy for Fair Elections. Former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich will deliver the keynote address, and journalist Bill Moyers will offer special remarks. We will also pay tribute to the life of civil rights activist Dorothy Height who served on the very first Common Cause National Governing Board.
