About Just Vote Colorado
Just Vote Colorado (formerly Fair Vote Colorado) is CCC's elections monitoring project. JVC is designed to protect our elections and increase civic participation for all Coloradans. JVC's mission is to ensure that all Coloradans have access to the polls and have their votes counted accurately and with integrity. In 2004 and 2006, we issued post-election reports that detailed the problems identified on Election Day and offered solutions on how those problems can be solved. This year, JVC will have a website, a call center and on-the-ground Election Day volunteers to assist voters with any questions or problems they may encounter.
2006 Fair Vote Colorado Report: Describes voting problems uncovered during the election and recommends improvements for Colorado's voting process.
Our collaborative election monitoring project, Fair Vote Colorado, proved to be a tremendous success. We trained and placed nearly 100 volunteers on Election Day. Volunteers handed out flyers with voters rights information and helped troubleshoot various problems on the ground.

Thank you Fair Vote volunteers:
Thanks to our volunteers who moved about on Election Day to address concerns of voter intimidation, uniformed election judges and misdirection's about polling locations/vote centers. In addition to monitoring, we ran a call center with 24 lines staffed by 30 volunteer attorneys throughout the day. We received nearly 20,000 phone calls to our vote line and over 1,000,000 hits to our website on Election Day alone- addressing issues ranging from polling place location and accessing provisional ballots to employee time off for voting.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our volunteers and election monitors who put in so much passion and energy to ensure that Coloradans had access to the ballot on Election Day. We hope you will continue to stay active as we continue our efforts toward better elections in Colorado.
With your help we ran a very successful Election Day monitoring operation which served as an invaluable resource to voters and important method for gathering information. This collected information allows us to present a clear picture of our electoral system; what actually happened on Election Day and the great need to reform our voting process.
Fair Vote trained and placed nearly 200 volunteers on the ground on Election Day!
Again, thank you for taking the time to defend voting rights on Election Day here in Colorado. We encourage you to stay involved as we work to reform our election process in our effort to increase participation by all eligible voters in Colorado and beyond! Thanks!
During the 2000 presidential election as many as 3.5 million eligible voters were denied their right to vote at polling places across the country. Colorado along with many other states has enacted new laws - We must ensure these new laws do not exclude eligible voters from having their vote count!
