The 2010 Session
Common Cause Georgia was actively working to get a major ethics reform package passed in 2010, but legislative leaders chose to go with "Ethics Lite" instead. SB 17 substitute, sponsored by House Speaker David Ralston (R- Blue Ridge) became the only reform bill considered during the 2010 session, and was passed with little discussion or debate. Common Cause Georgia is rallying our membership to support the reforms in HB 920 in new legislation in 2011.
