Election Protection 365

Election Protection 365, a coalition led by People For the American Way Foundation, the NAACP, and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, is the nation’s most far-reaching nonpartisan effort to protect voter rights, working year-round to remove obstacles to the ballot box and ensure that every voter is able to cast a vote that will count.   We work with election officials to eliminate barriers to the ballot box, file lawsuits to challenge election laws and procedures that would lead to voter disenfranchisement, have lawyers ready to go into court on Election Day for any necessary legal intervention, provide direct assistance to voters, document election problems and abuses, and push for reforms in election administration.
