Steps to Properly Print an Official Initiative Petition

Please read before printing, or your petition forms could be invalidated:

When you download the petition, you'll find it's a two-page file.  Most printers will print the file on separate sheets of paper.  This will result in an invalid petition.  To count, the petition must be on both sides of a single sheet.  Getting it right, however, is a snap:

1.  Choose the "Print" option from the "File" menu of either your web browser or .pdf reader.

2.  Only choose to print the first page in the print options window.  Go ahead and print page 1.

3.  Depending on how your printer works, position the half-printed petition so that page 2 will come out on the blank side.

4.  Repeat steps 1 and 2, but this time tell your computer to print page 2.

Laser printers work best for printing these forms and this year's petitions are on standard 8.5"x11" paper.  Please feel free to save the petition to your hard drive.  It's also easy to pick up petitions at a local Staples or FedEx-Kinko's.  These stores have the petitions on file and will print as many as you want at regular cost.  Simply request "Petition B."
