Common Cause NY's Comment in Opposition to Comcast- TWC Merger

August 11, 2014

Common Cause/NY filed a Comment with the NY Public Service Commission detailing the various ways in which Comcast and Times Warner Cable’s Joint Petition seeking approval of the merger failed to meet their burden of affirmatively showing that the proposed merger will result in net, positive benefits for New Yorkers. In our Comment we argue that the proposed merger is not in the public interest and so should not go forward.

Voters must be registered in the Democratic or Republican party to vote in that party’s primary. In New York State, the Republican and Democratic Presidential primaries are organized differently.
