Nebraska’s lobby has been called the third legislative house (alongside the unicameral and the public at large). Common Cause Nebraska’s 2017 Lobby Report backs up that notion, showing that spending continues to rise. In 2016, another $1,000,000 was spent over 2015 in an effort to influence elected officials.
