This Common Cause Massachusetts Report reads, in part, 'Using data from the Center for Responsive Politics, the Center for Media Analysis Group, the Atlas Project, and the Wesleyan Media Project, Common Cause Massachusetts analyzed the impact of the People's Pledge on campaign finance in Massachusetts, the most expensive congressional election in 2012, as compared to that in other competitive Senate races in Virginia, Ohio, and Wisconsin, the second, third, and fifth most expensive congressional elections respectively.'

Election Day Regis-tration would allow residents to register and vote on Election Day. Election Day Registration counteracts arbitrary registration deadlines that disenfranchise those who do not to register weeks in advance of an election.'
