These breakout sessions will examine the ways democracy is failing  people and their communities; how issues are impacted by the structural impediments to democracy; and what opportunities are available for leaders to bring about change. Topics will include criminal justice and environmental justice.

These breakout sessions will delve into specific barriers to advancing our agenda and what we can do to shift power back to people. Topics will include Big Data and media security, and representation and alternative voting systems.
